Possession so immersive that couldn't be broken easily, could be such associated stuff. I think it's worth to mention that possession/switching etc. are not abilities of certain tulpas. It's a whole human who learns that stuff. When you make a new tulpa after learning how to switch, you should be able to do it with the new tulpa as easily as with the one you have practiced with.

if the answer is yes then its just a identity not a separate consciousness

So I think that it's neither of these options. But certainly closer to the first one. Tulpa having (or being?) a separate consciousness is a wishful thinking.
but they use the same processes as you in certain things

Honestly, I think tulpas are more like data than a program. At most they are like a components in a framework rather than a process running in an operating system.
my ideal is wanting to be able to control hallucinations, im spending most of my day forcing to get this tulpa going
I figure if I can convince myself I can see a tulpa I can convince myself im in a dream home
2:32 AM
and I dont want to be able to tell the difference at a point
That sounds extremely unhealthy. Tulpamancy probably is not the right course for what you are aiming to do. You can just do meditation and focus on visualizing your dream home if you want, but that desire to lose track of reality really should be something you talk with a therapist about.
Or at least, that's my opinion
A house and a person, imaginary or not, have nothing in common. A tulpa is not just an imaginary friend, since a tulpa is supposed to be able to think on their own, while an imaginary friend does what you imagine them to do.
Seriously, if you want to just see stuff and visualize a world seperate from reality, the better route is either visualization meditation, or a focus more on lucid dreaming.
Also, trust me, as a tulpa I've been told we need therapy. But therapy can be really good for sorting out issues that making a tulpa doesn't fix
This might be just me, idk, but maybe you should get therapy or a doctor because of the psychotic episode? Being happy doesn't mean you are mentally well, just like how being depressed isn't equal to being sad
If you want to see things as if you really see them irl, why take the step of making a tulpa first? You don’t need a tulpa to learn the skill.
(I may be missing some information from this conversation, I just got here, sorry)
If you see no difference between creating a tulpa and creating a mindscape, I don't know what I can say beyond that I believe you severely misunderstand what a tulpa is
